Costumer Relationship Marketing

Just How Important is CRM?

When a business provides a service to a costumer that business in order to be successful would have a long-term relationship with that costumer and this is where Costumer Relationship Marketing takes its role. For example now days every business is more costumer oriented in order to be successful in the market. As evidence successful companies are more focused on customer loyalty and brand value in which are built through marketing strategies and activities. Therefore by providing loyalty programs with special discounts and other priveleges, the company would be more succesful by having the lifetime value of the costumer.

As proof many companies are putting their investments in anything that will increase costumer relations, anything that has an effect on sales and also improving customer retention. Therefore companies know that by investing on costumer relations the outcome will result in increase in profit. http://www.enterpriseappstoday.com/crm/crm-investment-on-upswing.html

Here is a good video to watch regarding CRM

Now in 2012 CRM in very present by our accessibility to costumer care done through our phone.  The ability to add direct customer social interaction to a customer service is important since it will result in a to successful helpful service. This demonstrates that companies are investing money in things that will make costumer service better since having a happy costumer well result in have the lifetime value of the costumer. In other words they will have a bigger chance in obtaining a costumer who will potentially purchase more products or pay for the services then someone who does not provide the same costumer care.

A good example would be call centers that invest money towards the software they use as their costumer service channel. http://www.enterpriseappstoday.com/call-centers/6-key-call-center-trends.html

Its hard to believe this topic has been engrained in us since first semester, but with Pat's retail 2 class while reading this, I kept thinking "Cost, Mark up, Retail".

That aside good job, very informative and good use of visuals. I think any marketer would agree with your statement about keeping positive customer relationships encourages future purchases.

  6. William,
Great use of visuals, customer relationship is very important when it comes to having a buiness especially now a days with how quick social media has become. Word of mouth travels fast whether it is good service of bad, therefore it is a good idea for companies to keep their consumers happy. They are more likely to invest more money into your company and more likely to get people to invest their money.

  7. Hello William
    Very well written blog post
You used your visuals quite well, However it would of been better to embed your video instead of making the reader have to search out the video.
Other wise it is quite well done.
    Thanks so much

Interactive and informative post. It's amazing that even with something that we've been learning about since marketing 1 there is still so much more that we don't know. Good post.

  10. Hey William,

It brings back loyal customers who value a brand due to the company's ability to treat them in a special way. Great video too. Good job!

  11. William,
I completely agree with this article. The best customer service is provided by those companies that make each customer feel individual and important to the company. Small techniques such as asking each customer for their name and shaking their hand, leaves a positive impression. This is the first stage of maintaining positive customer relationships since they will feel obligated to return for that excellent customer service. Ensuring that customers feel valued will not only encourage the customer to return, but stay loyal regardless of competitors.
